Unless explicitly stated otherwise, users should not enter patient-identifiable information into calculators or Saved Progress.
Examples of identifiable information include, but are not limited to:

- NHS Numbers
- Hospital Numbers
- Medical Record Numbers
- Dates of birth
- Addresses
- Telephone numbers
- Email addresses
- Any other information capable of identifying an individual patient
Saved Progress is intended only for de-identified clinical calculation data.
User Responsibility
Users are solely responsible for:
- The accuracy of information entered.
- Ensuring appropriate patient confidentiality.
- Compliance with local information governance policies.
- Compliance with GDPR, UK GDPR, HIPAA or other applicable legislation where relevant.
- Verifying that calculator outputs are appropriate for the patient concerned.

Healthcare Professional Accounts
Certain features of MediCalc are intended only for verified healthcare professionals.
Verification confirms that supplied professional registration details correspond to recognised professional registers where supported.
Verification does not:
- Confirm current employment.
- Confirm clinical competency.
- Confirm clinical privileges.
- Guarantee identity beyond the information available from the relevant professional register.
Availability
While every effort is made to ensure uninterrupted availability, MediCalc does not guarantee continuous operation.
Services may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates or circumstances beyond our control.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law:
